Kotaku reveal that Capcom have blogged that the revamped SF2 is on its way to breaking all sales records for a digital download. Still no digital download for PS3 owners in Europe though, which is crazy.

Following on from a really good article I read yesterday about not always having the time to factor in OOP and Design Patterns into ActionScript, Adobe have published an article on PureMVC for Flash and Flex.
I think it’s going to take time for the whole industry to build stuff properly. Flash is so wide-ranging now that you can almost be a specialist in one small part of what the technology allows you to achieve.
I’m almost a week out; didn’t realise 24ways were doing their xmas thing again. Great idea and some great tips in there as always.
SSF2THDR is one of the best games I’ve played this year. I’d forgotten how good the game is, and is a million times more fun playing online. Looking forward to playing (and losing) a competition at work soon!
Apparently, the remix (rebalancing) task wasn’t easy. Really interesting interview with Lead designer David Sirlin here. Hopefully future projects of a similar nature will be allocated suitable help and finance in future, as the end results with this remixed Street Fighter are clearly worth it.
